In relation to yesterday’s post, I thought it was important to highlight some of the signs and side effects of not having enough/any stomach acid.
-your hair/nails aren’t growing properly.
-you feel knackered, a lot.
-when you eat meat or animal products, it feels like food just gets stuck in your gut for ages – sometimes days!
-you have constipation often.
-you can also have diarrhoea often but still feel bloated and like you haven’t fully emptied your bowels. This can be due to bowel obstruction from improperly digested foods which are fermenting in your gut due to insufficient stomach acid 🤢
-farting, burping and bloating after and in between meals are completely standard for you.
-you easily get stomach upsets whenever you eat out and you’ve had food poisoning a few times.
-you constantly have post-nasal-drip and/or sinus problems.
-your metabolism is pretty slow.
-you don’t build muscle easily.
-you have blood sugar imbalances (hypoglycaemia, diabetes, insulin resistance).
-your tongue is cracked and sore.
-your have anaemia.
-your immune system is pretty weak.
Do you relate to any of these?
