1) your diet is hella inflammatory.

You’re eating foods which don’t agree with you. I’m not just referring to dairy & gluten (most ppl have a problem with 1 or both), these can be healthy veggies & fruit like pineapple, aubergines, peppers, mango, peaches, etc (it’s very individual).

Some ppl think it’s good to eat fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir, etc. Not if your gut is f**ed! These foods can actually trigger undesirable immunological effects which can manifest as bloating, rash, etc.

How to find out what foods mess you up? Be intuitive & in touch with your body. Don’t know how to do that? Speak to a nutritional therapist about going on an elimination diet.

2) your omega 3:6 ratio is crap.

You don’t eat enough oily fish or take fish oil (not cod liver oil, we don’t mess with those because of all the heavy metals & toxins stored in the liver!), and you eat too many omega 6 fat foods like cheese, red meat, nuts & nut butters, seeds etc.

Omega 6 is not bad at all, but we need to maintain a 4:1 ratio with omega 3, otherwise it becomes very inflammatory.

For more info on omega 3, click here.

3) you’re likely lacking adequate levels of:
-calcium
-zinc
-vitamin b6
-iron
-vitamin D
-vitamin A
-magnesium
-vitamin C
-antioxidants

Obviously everyone’s nutrient profile will be different, and you can only truly know yours’ by testing (expensive). However, most women of child bearing age are deficient in most of these.

Sometimes it may be due to lack of nutrition, and sometimes it’s due to eating/drinking/doing things which actually blocks the absorption of these nutrients.
