Coffee-free September Challenge!

If you have been following me since the beginning of the year, you’ll see that I’ve talked extensively about how coffee has benefits as well as downfalls on our physiology – some of us experience the pits of coffee a bit more than others.

I’m one of these people 🙋🏻‍♀️

I made the decision to give up instant coffee at some point in 2019.

Anyone who suffers from bouts of nervous system related issues like adrenal insufficiency, stress, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, anxiety and IBS should be taking note!

Coffee is not inherently bad, and there are many physiological benefits to it – but I’m not going to go through that here, you can scroll back to my posts on coffee for that!

Remember, tea and coffee are both caffeinated drinks but they have a very different effect on our nervous systems and health. Again, to understand the difference, check out my post on tea.

If you’ve been feeling you can’t function in some way without coffee, that’s a VERY loud signal from your body to you that you need to cut it out.

I’m going completely coffee free till October 1st, but I’ll be having my black & green tea concoctions as well as many other things I love to drink in the morning!

During this month, I’ll be posting non coffee hot drink inspo for any of you who also want to give coffee a break – and if you have any delicious ideas, please tag me so I can share the love!
