What is the ascendant/rising sign, and why is it important in medical astrology?
⠀
If you check for your sun sign predications when it comes to everyday astrology, you’re doing it wrong.
⠀
Our sun sign tells us about our ego’s needs and the approach we have to life. It reflects our will and ego personality.
⠀
Our ascendant/rising sign is more so our physical manifestation and representative in this lifetime.
⠀
It reflects our body shape/type, our core health make up, our mannerisms and how people see us upon first impression.
⠀
Let’s take Scorpio for example:
⠀
usually presents as someone quite slim with narrow features, and/or a distinctive nose. They usually have very intense eyes or stare.
⠀
Health wise, Scorpios are generally fast metabolisers/detoxers. They can possibly process their toxins at such a fast rate that it can present as ‘free radical damage’, from all the oxidative pollution caused from the fast detox processes.
⠀
They also usually have a very keen sense of smell and/or taste.
⠀
However, while this MAY be true for some Scorpio suns, it’s more so common in Scorpio rising people, who have a completely different sun sign.
⠀
In medical astrology, we cannot determine an accurate health chart without the ascendant.
⠀
To know your ascendant, you need your 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
