Sweet Potato Is Healthier & Less Fattening Than White Potato…TRUE OR FALSE?

The answer is FALSE!

I don’t know where this myth came from, but both kinds of potatoes are equally nutritious, and in fact sweet potatoes contains MORE sugar than white potatoes.

Sweet potatoes contain more vitamin A, and white potatoes contain lots of potassium – you want both, so just alternate between the 2 varieties ☺️

Remember, getting a variety of different colours and foods on your plate as often as possible exposes you to a wider variety of nutrients & antioxidants.

This helps create a diverse army of good bacteria – remember these lot will help your immune system (and pretty much every other system) in doing their job!

To get the most out of potatoes in a healthy way, boil, steam, roast, bake and slow cook.

Deep frying and coating in weird chemical ridden ingredients is going to compromise the nutrient content & absorption of these guys.
